Access the Internet at ISDN Speeds
up to 230 Kbps.
When not being used for a video
conference, the EyeContact DT 128 can
act as a super high-speed modem using
its built-in terminal adapter capability. A
computer connected to the serial port
can access the Internet, a remote LAN,
or an online service at speeds up to 230
Kbps, more than twice as fast as 56
Kbps modem. In addition, the DT 128
has a built-in POTS (Plain Old Telephone
Service) interface which allows it to be
used as a full-featured conference
telephone. This enables current TTY
users to attach to this phone to
communicate with other TTY users.
Versatility
The DT 128 can be configured with
optional software and enhancements to
suit any video application. Versions are
available for the Security, Healthcare and Distance Learning Industries. The
optional Software Development Kit
provides an interface to easily allow
integrators to create their own
applications quickly.
